Manicure Monday

Today’s Manicure Monday is all about Magnetic nail polish! Be adventurous and step outside the box with this 3D nail art. The Magnetic nail polish is infused with reactive magnetic particles that move when exposed to the bottle cap’s built in magnet. Learn how to do it yourself here:

What You’ll Need:
-Orly Bonder basecoat (optional)
-Magnetic nail polish
-Clear top coat nail polish

How To Do It Yourself:

Step 1: Start off by applying the Orly Bonder as your basecoat to all your nails (this will prevent nail color from chipping or wearing off). Let dry for about 10 minutes.

Step 2: Apply your first layer of Magnetic nail polish and let dry. We waited about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Now working on one nail at a time you will  be adding a thick second layer of Magnetic nail polish and immediately after you will hover the magnetic cap over the nail for about 10 seconds. Note that there is a lip on the cap that you should place just below the cuticle which will position the magnet perfectly over the nail. Be careful not to touch the wet nail polish.

Step 4: Repeat for each nail (one at a time). And let dry. You can also use UV Nail Lamp

Step 5: Apply a layer of clear top coat to seal in your new manicure and you’re all done!
